Polotnyany refinery: history
The history of the Polotnyany refinery (Kaluga region) is noteworthy. This settlement was founded by Peter the 1st, and later became the estate of Goncharovs – relatives of the wife of Alexander Pushkin. Today there is a museum of the poet there. And in this historic place 32 kilometers north of Kaluga there is the Perviy Refinery.
