OOO Mariysky NPZ is an oil refinery located in the Republic of Mari El on the main oil pipeline Surgut-Polotsk. This is one of the largest enterprises of the republic. The Mariysky refinery is located at the address: Mari El, Orsha district, the village of Tabashino.
History
The Mariysky refinery is a story of rapid take-off in spite of the economic crisis in the country. Built for 3 years (from 1995 to 1998), the refinery successfully started and began to rapidly expand its production facilities.
Then there was a difficult period during which the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. But in mid-2014, the Mariysky refinery entered the “Noviy Potok” group, which gave it great development opportunities. The professional team of the Group’s managers took the refinery out of the crisis and achieved production growth.
The year 2015 marked the beginning of extensive modernization of the Mariysky refinery. It covered the expansion of production, renovation of equipment and the construction of new functional facilities.
Mariysky Refinery: products
Today the Mariysky refinery processes up to 1.5 million tons of oil a year and produces more than a dozen types of high quality products. The processing depth reaches 70%.
The main groups of oil products:
- Stable gas naphtha.
- Light naphtha (Mariysky refinery light naphtha).
- Diesel fuel (Mariyka).
- Feedstock for petroleum bitumens.
- Residual fuel oil.
- Marine fuel oil.
- Technical kerosene.
- Furnace oil.
- Marine fuel etc.
Mariysky fuel provides half of the needs of the Russian fleet and supplies fuel to the entire region. And also successfully exports oil products to a number of countries: Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Great Britain, etc.
The fuel of the Mariysky refinery fully complies with the norms recommended for low-viscosity marine fuel and combustive and lubricating materials, as evidenced by the quality passport of the Mariysky refinery products.
Prospects
Prospects for the development of the Mariysky refinery are related to the ongoing reconstruction. After its completion, it is planned to increase production capacities to 8 million tons of oil per year. It is forecasted to increase the depth of processing to 98%, that is, production will become practically non-waste.
In addition to the production of oil products, the Mariysky Refinery is engaged in the construction of other refineries, in the search for, exploration and extraction of resources and foreign economic activity.
