Gas condensate is a liquid mixture of high-boiling hydrocarbons. It is produced from gas by separation of condensate fractions or extracted from gas condensate fields. Gas condensate GeoTransGas is one of the most-in demand gas condensates in the chemical and fuel industry.
GeoTransGas company entered the market of hydrocarbon raw materials in 2012 and in a short time became a significant player in the gas industry. It is a subsidiary of Alrosa diamond mining group, which explores and produces hydrocarbons in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
One of the operation fields of GeoTransGas is the Beregovoe field to the east of Novy Urengoy. The main products are gas and gas condensate. The planned gas condensate production in 2017 is 221 456 tons, gas – more than 1.8 billion cubic meters. The total reserves of condensate are more than 12 million tons of gas – more than 83 billion cubic meters.
Light gas condensate GeoTransGas is produced by the method of gas separation at low temperatures. As a result of this process, all high-boiling components are released from the raw gas, forming gas condensate and water. The gas is separated at temperatures from 0 to -30 ° C.

Characteristics

GeoTransGas is a high quality gas condensate with homogeneous composition without impurities. Its main properties are listed in the quality certificate:

• Colour – transparent yellow (determined visually).
• Sulfur content – 0.0096% (low-sulfur).
• Saturated vapour pressure is 86 kPa or 645 mm Hg. Art. (in accordance with GOST 1756).
• Water content – less than 0.03%.
• There are no mechanical impurities, hydrogen sulphide, methyl ethyl mercaptans.
• Density at 20°С – 727.8 kg/cu. m.
• Concentration of chloride salts – no more than 0.40 mg / cc. dm.

Application

Gas condensate extracted from the well is unstable. To become usable, it is degassed and cleaned of impurities.
The main sales areas of all types of gas condensates are petrochemical and the fuel industries. Due to the large content of gasoline fractions, in most cases exceeding 50%, condensates have become an excellent raw material for production of gasolines and diesel fuels.
In petrochemical industry condensates are used to produce olefins and monomers for the further production of plastics and synthetic polymers.
GeoTransGas condensate is transported by car tanks or by rail from Korotchaevo station.
