CJSC Rospan International is a subsidiary of Rosneft, the largest oil and gas company in the world. Today Rospan is the main gas condensate producer in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. It has licenses for the development and subsoil exploration in the Urengoy, East-Urengoy and North-Yesino fields.

After the commissioning of an integrated gas and condensate treatment facility in March 2016, the capacity of the complex increased to 1,700 tons / day. stable condensate and the annual production gas condensate surpassed 1.2 million tons. Besides gas, Rospan produces large volumes of gas condensate. It was the first company to start the development of the Achimov gas condensate deposits, which are considered difficult to develop because of the very deep bedding. When the company completes a large-scale program of modernization and put into operation all the planned facilities , the average annual production of gas condensate will be above 5 million tons.
Characteristics
The gas condensate produced by Rospan differs from the gas condensate from other fields by more intense yellow color, higher density and higher set point, since it contains a small fraction of paraffin. After dewaxing the set point can be lowered.
According to the quality passport, the Rospan gas condensate has the following properties:
- Density at 20°С – 751.9 kg/cu. m.(in accordance with GOST 3900-85)
- Water content – less than 0.02%.
- Saturated vapor pressure is 85.4 kPa.
- There are no mechanical impurities.
- Sulfur content – less than 0.015%.
- Paraffin -1.1%
- Concentration of chloride salts – no more than 0.5 mg / cc. dm.
- Set point— -25ºС;
- Methanol -162 0.5 mg /kg
This type of gas condensate is produced by the method of separation (separation of condensate from gas) at low temperatures. The product obtained has a wide application in the fuel industry. Stable gas condensate is used for the production of gasoline, as an additive to diesel fuel, etc.
Rospan condensate is transported by railway tanks from Korotchaevo and Farafontievskaya stations.
